    The Following Evil Trilogy COMPLETE

    Chapter I
    The Arrival

The car pulled up to the castle in a none other than a moon-lit night. A man stepped out of it and walked up to the gigantic palace. It had a strange feeling that made his heart sink in his chest. He looked back.

"C'mon." Four other figures got out of the car and walked into the castle. It had two gigantic doors, that were eerie and uneven.

"Are you sure this is the place with the werewolves in it?" Said one of the the two women.

"Yes, I'm sure." Said the man. His name was Garry Colter. He had dark hair and tan skin.

"Garry." Said another man. His name was Jeff Finure, he had semi-long hair that was also dark. "Do you think there will be enough things to photograph and get back to London."

"I think so. Shh." Said Garry Colter looking up at the second floor staircase. "I see something." Garry observed two eyes staring at him. The pupils were slits. But right as Garry was getting a good look at it, it seemed to dissolve. "I think I saw it."

"A Werewolf?" Said Jeff Finure. "Don't give Lea a scare for nothing." Lea Johnson had brunette hair that went down to her shoulders. She was very beautiful and her and Jeff were dating at the time. Jeff looked at his Roman Numeral watch. "Its the New Year, boys...And girls. finally, 1920, I didn't know what to call the decade a few moments ago."

"Happy New Year, Jeff." Said Court Leno. He was one of the thrill seekers who had blonde hair that was very short. He smiled and grabbed his sister, Jany by the arm. She was very attractive, even with the glasses on. "Now don't get killed, it'd be a shame having to carry your body back to the car."

She punched him in the arm. "And it'd be a chore carrying back yours."

"Well, shall we go, then?" Said Garry. They walked up the staircase and into the rooms. Garry saw once again the eyes and they once again darted away quickly. Garry took a troubled sigh and cocked his shotgun.

    WOLF CASTLE

    Chapter II
    The Wolf

Court Leno looked up at the ceiling.

"So how long are we gonna be here?"

    "About a night." Said Garry.

"Are we staying in rooms?" Asked Jeff, looking at his watch. "I do not fancy staying in one of these dung-holes."

"Calm down, we're not staying in rooms we are going to search the castle tonight, try to get photos, and then return to the automobile."

"Are we going to sleep in the car?" Said Jany.

"Yes, we have enough room for the five of us, it would be to dangerous in here." Said Garry.

"And I thought Americans were risk takers." Said Jeff. "That encounter with the parachuting won't leave my memory anytime soon."

"Just because they shoved you off when you were putting it on doesn't mean it was a risk. Maybe they just wanted to get rid of you."

"I lost it in mid-air, and I tell you, this isn't go--." Everyone heard a door creak. A man was walking out of it. He was slowly doing it. Garry looked up.

"That's no werewolf. Show yourself!" The man gave a terrified look to Garry, whimpered and ran back into one of the rooms.

"There's someone else here!" Said Lea.

"Hurry, we have to find him." They ran up the stairs, and went into the room where he had gone.

"Where is he?" Said Court. Just then Garry pointed to the open window.

"He climbed out." Everyone looked out of the window to the forest behind the gigantic castle. "He's gone. C'mon, lets go."

But as soon as they turned around to look up at a six-foot werewolf staring back down at them.

"Oh My..." Said Jany Leno starting to back up.

But the wolf's slit eyes saw this. It lunged for her grabbing ahold of her with its claws. It slobbered over her and then within a second, took a huge bite out of her shoulder.

    "Aghhhh."

Garry winged out his shotgun carefully pointing were it would not go through and hit Jany. He pulled the trigger, and heard nothing but a click. The wolf turned around, blood oozing from its mouth. The rounds! His coat pocket. The werewolf jumped on top of Garry almost reading his mind.

"Garry!" Cried Lea helping Jany cover her wound.

Garry was holding its mouth back with one hand and one foot, the shotgun was right next to his head, the wolf was snapping and biting, trying to get to Garry.

He slid his finger into his coat and yanked out two rounds.

    "Jeff, load it!"

He didn't need telling twice he dived before the wolf could get to it. Picked it up, shoved the two rounds in and fired it at wolfs leg.

It screeched with pain and grabbed the wound. It growled as though to get revenge and busted through the window, and jumped out.

Still panting Garry Colter sat up and looked over at Jany still whimpering from the bite.

"You know what they say about a wolfs bite don't you? It will stalk you until it kills you."

    Chapter III
    The Forest

Out in the car lay Jany Leno and Court keeping watch on her, while the others stood inside.

"What do you mean it stalks you?"

"It means..." Garry looked up at them sitting in his chair. "That it WILL find her. No matter what it takes. She's....as good as dead."

"No!" Said Lea. "Let's go back to New York! We have to get away from here."

"That'd be even worse, they would find the city, that would make things worse. We would spread the evil."

"Well what are we going to do?" Said Jeff who was looking out the window at the car.

"That, I am not sure. I have plenty of rounds in the car for my shotgun, but werewolves, from what my father told me, have been known to raise from the dead to get back to their victims."

"What happened to your father?" Said Lea.

    "Dead." Said Garry softly.

    "Werewolf?"

"Yes, one attacked us at our cabin only 20 miles ago."

"Garry, werewolves, the car, Ten O' Clock!"

They were in the car, they were ripping apart Court Leno.

Jany was still alive screaming in the back seat.

    "Open the back!" Yelled Jeff.

Court opened the door to the back seat and grabbed on Jany's hand. But the werewolf had her leg.

"Don't let go of her!" Said Lea.

Jeff got on the back of Garry and started pulling on him to help. Lea did the same. The werewolf started to look tired. Then, at a surprise, the werewolf bit down on her leg and ripped it off.

"Aghhh!" The scream was more terrible than seeing the leg being removed.

They grabbed Jany and started to run into the castle, then something surprised them. The wolf was gone. And a bloody Court Leno emerged from the front seat.

"Court!" Half of his face was gone.

"Help me..." He murmered and then spat out blood. "Is Jany okah...?"

The werewolf was under the car it slit Court's head with its nail. His head went back down and blood splurted out.

Jany covered her eyes and started to cry. Garry picked her up and put her over his shoulder.

"We've got to get back to the castle!"

"No, we have to go to the forest."

"We'll never have a chance in the forest!"

"Yes, we will, lets get Jany out of here."

Lea was right next to Jeff gripping him tightly.

"Right, then." Said Jeff. "Let's go."

"Jany, how are you holdin' out?"

There wasn't an answer. Then, to his horror, Garry felt a warm liquid go down the back of his shoulder. He lifted back Jany, and saw that her head was not there.

Garry and Jeff turned around at that very moment and saw the werewolf spitting out a skull in its large jaws.

"God bless you, Jany. We have to retreat to the forest, c'mon!"

Lea and Jeff followed Garry Colter into the forest, the sun slowly rose and the treacherous night was finally over. But yet, even with the sun acommpanying them, yet it felt like they were still surrounded by darkness...

    Wolf Hunt
    Chapter 1
    The Forest

Lea looked at Jeff, and then at Garry. She looked as though she would never be cheerful again.

"Where do we go from here?" Said Jeff.

"It's morning and the wolves usually don't come out in the morning. We have to find somewhere to hide from them when night comes."

    "Where?"

"This forest is gigantic, there might be some caves or something." Said Garry.

"What about Jany and Court? They were just killed!" Siad Lea.

"They were just killed, but we can no longer help them. We have to fend for ourselves now, but this does not mean its every man for himself." Said Garry. "Damn, where's my shotgun?"

"I've got it." Said Jeff. "I also have taken pictures of the wolves. They were horrifying. But I managed to get a shot of one when we had our first encounter."

Garry looked at Jeff's watch. "5:30 AM."

    WOLF HUNT

    Chapter II
    Night Returns

"A cave!" Said Garry. He walked over to it and examined it. "We could stay in here, its very deep. Must be hundreds of yards deep."

"Okay." Said Jeff, looking at Lea.

Colter, Finure, and Johnson climbed into the cave and all started to fall asleep.

Jeff woke up and looked out of the cave's entrance. It was dark... it must have been... Jeff looked at his watch. 9:30? It felt like he had just drifted off. He thought it safe to just stay in the cave.

When he put his hands behind his head ready to go back to sleep, when he elbowed Garry in the head.

    "Oh, sorry, I..."

"Don't worry about it, mate." Said Garry drowsily. "So... when did you wake up?"

"Few minutes ago... we've been sleeping for about sixteen hours."

"Really?" Said Garry looking out of the cave's entrance.

    "I think we should wake-."

"Let her sleep." Said Garry. "She's been through enough. Let's hope she's having happy dreams."

"You know...I was going to propose to Lea last night. The thrill...the excitement... the moonlight." Jeff looked at her again. "But then we saw the man."

"That man!" Said Garry. "Who...was he? Did he look familiar?"

"No. He was very old, though."

"He climbed out the window, but we must have been three stories high."

    "He seemed scared of us."

    "Indeed."

And then they heard a growl. It sounded more bloodthirsty they had heard.

"Down the cave." Said Garry. "Wake her up."

Jeff nudged Lea and she sat up hitting her head on the ceiling making it crack.

    "Shit."

They heard the growl come closer.

"Its heard us." Whispered Jeff. "C'mon Lea."

He started tugging her down the tunnel in the cave as they climbed lower.

"We have to hurry its getting closer. C'mon Lea."

They crawled down even faster trying to get away from it. The growling was getting louder.

"What the hell?" Said Garry quietly. "It gets louder as we climb lower what is that?"

    "Just go, hurry."

    "I don't get-"

Garry ran into something. He got up and looked back at Jeff and Lea, who were recoiling in horror. He could feel its breath. He looked up at the werewolf staring at him, drooling with fangs showing evily.

He kicked it in its face and turned around as Jeff took out Garry's shotgun and blew off its arm. It howled in pain as they started to escape.

The werewolf was still crawling after them. If Jeff tried to turn around and shoot it again, it would already get him. The second that it got even an ounce of any of their blood it would be stalking them forever. They hustled up the tunnel even faster.

Finally they saw the outside night. And scrambled out of the hole. Garry kicked it once again, and Jeff tossed him his shotgun. Garry aimed it and pressed the trigger. A click.

"My rounds!" The wolf had gotten back up again and Garry smacked it with his gun. This gave him more time. He reached in his pocket and loaded his shotgun. The one-armed wolf got back up again just in time to get its head blown off. The blood went everywhere.

Garry took out his rounds and tossed them on the ground looking at the headless corpse of the werewolf.

"Something I don't understand Garry, don't we need silver bullets to kill a werewolf?" Said Jeff.

"Jeff, I just blew a hole in it. Do you think it really matters if its silver?"

    "Good point."

    Chapter III
    Hunting

"Garry, where are we going?" Said Jeff.

    "I don't know."

"Well, we should set course for somewhere!" Said Lea Johnson.

"Mmmmm...Okay the way that I'm going."

They walked for awhile when they came to a halt. A dead werewolf was on the ground.

"What the hell happened here?" Said Garry.

There were scratches all over it, another wolf must have been killed.

"Do werewolves get in fights?" Said Jeff to Lea.

"Well, they don't exactly hunt as a pack. They fight over their food when they do. But sometimes they will even kill each other when they go hungry, and eat the other wolf."

"I didn't know that." Said Garry.

    "The car."

    "What?"

"The car." Said Jeff. "We can get out in the car."

"I don't want to go back to where we were when they died."

"It'll be our only chance, Lea." Said Jeff.

"But we don't know where we are." Said Garry calmly.

"Let's try and find our way back to the castle."

"We can't go back to the castle, they know we're there."

"Well, what are we doing in the forest?" Said Jeff. "We have to get out of here, otherwise we will soon die, we haven't had food for two days!"

Garry looked at Jeff. "Let's retrace our footsteps, then and turn around."

"They've been hunting." Said Jeff. "Scratch-marks on the tree they know where we are."

    Chapter IV
    The Bite

"They know where we are. Then, they work in packs." Said Garry."

"Looks like some of them do." Said Lea.

    "Let's get out of here."

"Wait a minute.." Said Garry. "We can't go back. If they know where we are then they know where we've been, and they'll be there."

    "Oh... no." Said Jeff.

"We have to find a different route back." Said Lea.

    "Let's keep going forward."

    2:AM

"Did you hear that?" Said Lea.

    "The howl." Said Garry.

    "What does the howl mean?"

"Means there close by." All three of them started to run. Pushing branches and bushes out of their way. Then, Lea missed one. Bam.

She hit the ground hard. Garry and Jeff didn't know if she was knocked out. They examined her. She woozily opened her eyes, they were both looking down at her. She pointed and screamed.

"What?" Jeff turned around quickly and saw it ready to pounce. It jumped forward and knocked Jeff out of the way. It bit Lea's hand off.

    "Aagghhhhhh!!!!"

Then it howled and started to drag her away. Garry took out his loaded shotgun. With two shots its entire upper half of its body was gone.

    "You've been bitten." Said Garry.

Something hit Jeff which made his heart sink. "G- Garry...what h-happens when a werewolf bites someone and then is k-killed?"

Garry seemed as if he realized it too. "I don't know." They looked at the werewolf corpse. Slowly all of the arteries and blood started to form back together again and it stood up.

"Run!" They grabbed Lea and dragged her as the werewolf started galloping towards them. "Hurry!"

"Aggghhhhhhh!!!" It jumped on top of her. Garry whacked it with his shotgun and blew the head off again.

"That will give us sometime!" They carried her running. Garry looked back to see its splattered brains coming back together once again.

Then they hid behind a huge tree trunk.

Lea looked up at Jeff with tears on her eyes. "Jeff, I'm not going to survive, am I?"

    "I...I"

"I know the answer Jeff, I love you, I'm sorry."

"I love you more than anything." He said. He kissed her on the forehead.

"Jeff, I don't want to be killed by the werewolf...you do it. Once you do it, the wolf will die."

    "I...can't."

"You have to, we both know."

The wolf was starting to run towards them. It had found them.

    "Hurry, I love you."

Garry had the gravest look on his face and handed his gun to Jeff. Garry closed his eyes and so did Jeff. He pulled the trigger.

A gigantic blast was heard. Garry opened his eyes and looked at the wolf. It was also laying on the floor. Garry and Jeff slowly walked away without looking back.

    Chapter V
    The Man

Garry and Jeff did not speak.

"Oh, no not again." Said Garry looking at the rustling in the bushes, holding up his shotgun.

    "No!"

Garry lowered his shotgun. "Did you hear that?"

"Yeah." Said Jeff. Then he snapped his fingers. "The old man."

    "Show yourself."

Slowly a man with bright white hair emerged from the bushes.

"I saw you the night we came here!"

"You should never have come here."

    "I know." Said Jeff.

    "They won't let you go."

    "What?"

    "Unless you get it."

    "What?" Said Garry again.

    "The Wolf eye."

    "The Wolf eye?"

"You're car would never have got you out of here."

    "Why?" Said Jeff.

"They won't let you go. Not just the wolves but the Following Evil. You must go and get the Wolf Eye. You must bring it back, and then you will be able to go. I have heard it does more than that though. I do not know what else it does, but I know you have only one chance to get it."

    "And thats why your here."

    "Yes." He said gravely.

    "Your stuck here forever?"

"Yes, I'm a survivor, yes but what is their to survive for? You must get it. It will be your only hope for escape. Return to the castle, and get it. On the top of the castle it lays waiting to be found. Return to the castle, go south and you will find the castle that you seek."

    "What about you?"

"I have been here for forty years, and maybe I will be set free if you get the eye, but I think it is not very possible. Go."

Garry and Jeff didn't know half of why the man was there, but they started to go south, in hope for the eye.

"Garry." Said Jeff. This was the first time he had said anything really since Lea's death. "We have to get out of here, otherwise Lea would have died in vain. We will get out of here, and we will get that eye. All glory comes from the daring to begin."

    The castle became visible again.

    The Following Evil Trilogy

    ------------------Chapter I
    ------------------Return To The Castle

Garry and Jeff looked around, it seemed like it had been so long since they had last been to the castle. They walked up to the car and looked inside of it. They saw bloodstains everywhere, it couldn’t have been a more hideous sight. Garry couldn’t help but think about his father who had been killed by the werewolves.

Garry went around the back to get his shotgun shells. He opened the back and on the other side of it saw the decaying body of Court Leno. Garry almost vomited. He grabbed a handful of shotgun shells and walked back over to where Jeff Finure stood.

"I think its about time we found what this eye is all about."

"Jeff, are you ready to walk in there?"

"Well." Said Jeff. "My girlfriend has just been murdered by werewolves, I literally want them dead."

Jeff walked up to the castle and opened the door. He looked around for a moment.

"This isn’t the way we came in." Said Jeff.

"I think it’s the back door." Said Garry.

They continued into the door. It appeared that they were in some type of cellar. But this cellar did not look very friendly. Much like all cellars. But this one was even worse. There were bloody tools everywhere.

"Werewolves don’t use tools do they?" Said Jeff.

"I would think it would have the previous owner of this castle."

"You think the wolves inherited it?"

"Inherited it yes." Garry said. "But I think they probably killed him."

Jeff picked up a small axe, slightly bigger than a pick-axe. "You have a shotgun, I think I’ll carry this around with me."

"Suit yourself--." In front of Garry was a werewolf. Standing very still.

"Garry, what do we do?" Said Jeff.

"Wait…" Said Garry. "It’s stuffed." Garry went over and touched the werewolf. It didn’t move. "Odd."

"Do you think the man was a werewolf hunter?"

    "Maybe."

"Wait, look at this book!" Said Jeff. He opened it up and saw a drawing of a werewolf.

    "Read it." Said Garry.

"The werewolf bites and never lets go. It will hunt you down until you are dead. You will never survive if you’re bitten by a werewolf." Jeff went onto the next passage.

"The werewolf has an eye that has existed as long as the earth has. If someone seeks out for it once and fails, then he will be trapped where the eye is forever. If a second person seeks out for the Eye, they will not be trapped where the werewolf is forever, but will destroy mankind, and the werewolves will take over the earth."

Jeff dropped the book and looked at Garry. Garry had nothing to say.

"Are you saying… that if we don’t get the eye, then… mankind will…?"

"Well, then we must not fail." Said Garry. He loaded his shotgun and walked up the stairs of the cellar.

    RETURN TO THE CASTLE

    --------------Chapter II
    --------------The Castle

Jeff walked up the stairs after Garry, he had the book with him. "Garry, are you sure we can do this?"

"Look at it this way, Jeff." Said Garry. "We have already set out for the Eye, we can’t give up now, because then no matter what, our world is doomed."

"Okay, Garry." He started reading the book again, aloud. "I have just found out that the eye is in my castle, I am going to abandon it, I am going to leave this retched place after all these years slaying wolves. The Wolf’s Eye has more power then getting someone out of the area of my castle. But only the person who gets it will know that power. There isn’t anymore, Garry."

"Good. We know what to do."

Jeff tightened the grip on his pick-axe and dropped the book. It made someone of a thump. And Garry looked up at a chandelier ready to fall. Then… a growl.

Garry whipped up his shotgun and blasted where he thought it was coming from. Just then a wolf leaped onto his back.

"Agghh!" Garry hit in its head before it could bite him.

Jeff whacked its hand off with his axe. It howled in pain and scratched him. Garry loaded his shotgun again. Fired it at the creature but missed, as something else tackled him. It was another wolf.

"Jeff!" Garry yelled. Jeff was still keeping away from the wolf with his pick-axe. Then, right as the wolf on Garry was about to bite him, Jeff swung the axe onto its back.

The wolf, filled with anger got up and started walking over to Jeff battling with the second wolf. Then the wolf’s body collapsed onto the floor. Garry had shot it in the back.

Jeff pummeled the axe into the wolf’s stomach. Then it grabbed the pick-axe and threw it over by the door and started closing up on Jeff. Garry got up off the ground and saw all of his rounds hitting the ground. There was a hole in his shirt-pocket. He hurried and bent down as fast as he could to load them.

But just then both Garry and Jeff heard a big booming busting noise that sounded like a groan. The chandelier fell off of the ceiling and crushed the werewolf.

    "Well, lets continue." Said Garry.

"Now, we have to go to the very top of the castle right?" Said Jeff.

"Yes, we do. Look at that passage-way. Maybe it will get us to the front of the castle faster."

The passageway was dark and shadowy, but it did look faster. "Okay." Said Jeff walking over to pick up his pick-axe.

    ---------------Chapter III
    ----------------The Passage Way

Garry smiled at Jeff as he walked into the tunnel. As they walked into it they saw that it got much bigger and turned into some outside garden. Garry looked over the wall. And then noticed that he was 20 feet off of the ground.

"Jeff, were on a turret." Said Garry.

    "What?"

"Look over the edge of these short walls, its one of the turrets of the castle."

Jeff looked over the wall and almost looked shock.

"I didn’t really notice but it slowly went up as we went. Maybe we are getting closer to the top."

Jeff looked over at Garry, thinking of Lea, he wanted her back so badly.

"Jeff, I know what you’re thinking about, I’m sorry."

Jeff put his head on Garry’s shoulder, semi-weeping. "I’m glad your with me, Garry. I’ve seen the bloodshed of all my friends except you."

"I can assure you the only bloodshed that we will see will be from werewolves." Then-a howl.

Garry looked over the wall again. There were eight werewolves crawling up the wall, he went over to the other edge to look. Five more.

"We have to get out of here." Said Garry grabbing two rounds and stuffing them in his shotgun. "Thirteen werewolves!"

Jeff was already running. "C’mon, Garry."

Garry smiled and started running as the first werewolf popped up over the side and he blew its head off. He hurried into the passageway and saw Jeff ahead of him slightly.

Then, to Garry’s horror he saw four green eyes moving towards him. He loaded his shotgun, while running and fired at one of the pairs. He could tell it had been blasted back, because it had made a large screeching howl.

The other wolf’s eyes seemed to have gained speed. And Garry saw 6 more eyes behind it, he loaded and fired again, that seemed to have knocked two wolves into oblivion.

Garry finally reached the end of the passageway into another section of the castle. But he saw that no one was there.

    -------------Chapter IV
    --------------D a r k N e s s

Jeff Finure was completely alone in the dark castle. He could see almost nothing. He looked around for a moment trying to see if Garry had caught up to him.

    "Garry?"

Garry loaded another shotgun shell and got ready for some more werewolves to come at him. But they seemed to have retreated. He was just one person how could he kill them all?

Jeff ran aimlessly around in the darkness yelling. "Garry." Hoping to run into him, and not a werewolf.

Garry could start to see better, he looked around, and soon noticed that he was on the third floor of the castle. "Jeff, where are you?"

Garry heard a distant howl and looked up. Through the window at the top he could see the moon, and ten werewolves spying on him about to break through the window.

"Garry? Garry, c’mon where are you?" Jeff was starting to scared, now.

He stumbled upon some stairs and started to walk up them, he had already walked down these stairs and decided to back-track.

Garry Colter was surrounded by Wolves hopping down from the Window. One jumped towards him, trying to pounce on him, but Garry blew its head off. He quickly reloaded and shot another one down. Eight more to go.

The wolves left all started at him. Garry took another shot. Blasted two. Six… One made its way jumping on top of him, about to rip his lungs out when he hit it with his shotgun in the head.

He decided he had to run for it again. He couldn’t waste anymore rounds until they reached the eye. It was going to be harder to get out of there alive with it in their hands.

He started down some stairs and got to the second floor, Garry looked behind him, he knew it was no option to run, they were too close to lose.

Jeff ran up the stairs in the darkness. He could hear something. Werewolves… He readied his pick-axe.

Garry was cornered. He loaded his shotgun as three of them pounced on him, he held their mouths back, but they were scratching at him like crazy, he could hardly hold them back.

"Aghhh!" His face was soaking with blood, he hardly had the will to hold them back. One came inches away from biting his hand he kept pushing them away with his shotgun.

Then he saw an axe come through one of the werewolves. It howled loudly and got up to start getting it out of its back. Then someone pulled it out of its back right as it fell to the floor. Jeff. He ran over and started axing the backs of the other two back on him, as the last three ran towards him.

Jeff sensed it about to happen and whipped his axe around and cut one of the werewolve’s head off. Garry, then pushed the werewolve’s back and got them on the floor with the axe-marks in their backs, he loaded his shotgun and blew both of them away with one pull of the trigger.

Jeff hacked his axe, into the last three werewolves stomachs, they were getting very mad, and howled with pain as the blood hit the ground.

Garry jumped up behind one of the werewolves and hit the gun on the back of the head, knocking it out. It layed there for a moment. Garry knew it wasn’t dead. But just as he was about to shoot it in the stomach, when he saw Jeff slice into the back of its head, it was a disgusting sight, it practically caved in.

The two last werewolves both took on Garry and Jeff. Garry shot one of the werewolves. It didn’t kill it, but took off its arm. It didn’t even howl, it just kept advancing on him.

Jeff axed at the werewolf’s face. It was starting to dent, covered in blood, Jeff couldn’t believe this. It was powerful, more powerful than the others.

"I guess they left the best for last, ay?" Said Garry backing up shooting another round at the wolf. This time it went right through its stomach leaving holes all over its front. Then, it looked very mad, the deranged wolf clawed at Garry, now it was moving very fast. He hit it with the shotgun, as the wolf took another slice at him. Garry dodged this one.

Meanwhile, Jeff was having particular trouble with the wolf he was fighting. He jumped on it and axed at its head, cutting through it with blood spurting everywhere. Both Jeff and Garry had blood all over them, but the blood on Jeff was mostly from wolves. Garry was probably starting to bleed to death. They needed to get him some kind of bandage or a cloth to hold his blood in.

Garry with his face cut everywhere with his own dry blood shot the wolf, yet again, only to see the leg go flying off. Then, Garry barely missed it biting his foot.

Jeff had climbed over to the back of the werewolf he was fighting. It scratched at him in anger. But, right as Jeff got clawed for the last time, he swung his axe around in a circle twice and be-headed the wolf. Its body walked around for a few seconds, then fell to the floor with Jeff.

He quickly got up and hurried over to where Garry was. Almost defensless with his blood slowly oozing away. With one more swift swing of his axe, Jeff axed upwards where the hole had been in the wolf’s stomach and cut its head in half.

"Garry are you okay?" Jeff quickly took off his torn sweater and tied it around Garry’s chest, where he had been bleeeding the most. Then, he took of his sock, and tied it around his wrist where it had been cut.

"Thank you, Jeff, thank you." Garry lied back and closed his eyes. "I’m very tired, we need to find a place to sleep."

Jeff helped Garry up and they walked to a shadowy corner under one of the staircases.

"12:00 AM" Said Jeff, looking at his Roman Numeral Watch. "3 Days exactly since we arrived." He lay back and drifted off to a dreamless sleep.

Garry was the first to wake. He looked up and saw the sun shining through one of the dirty windows. "Jeff, time to go. We shouldn’t have slept, they could have killed us." Garry looked over at Jeff. "Jeff?"

    "What?"

"Jeez, you gave me a scare." Then they both saw something that came to interest. It was scratched on the wall. It said: ShE WiLL gET yoU oUt The moSt BEautIful Of ALL BeauTIEs. GAleenA.

    "What is this?" Said Jeff.

"I’m not sure. What could it be?" Said Garry

"Okay, let’s get outta here." Said Jeff standing up and walking over to the staircase.

"The top floor, we slept under the staircase of the second." Said Garry. "The third is right up there. Let’s go find where the top floor is."

They walked slowly up the staircase. They didn’t want any confrontation after the fight they had had last night. When they reached the third floor, Garry saw something.

    "Look at those trap doors!"

    ----------------Chapter V
    ----------------No Wolves

"Oh, my gosh, that must be to the top floor." Said Jeff. The trap door was about 600 Yards away, but they could see it.

"Jeff, what else do you think that Eye does? It said that it does more than set us free."

"Well, obviously it’ll save mankind. But… I don’t know what else it could do." Saif Jeff scratching his small beard he had gotten from staying there so long. Both of their hair was starting to get longer and dirtier, they smelled like dirt, dry blood, and had werewolf fur all over theirselves.

As if they cared, they walked for another few minutes and looked back every two seconds very paranoid as if the wolves were going to attack any second. Garry kept thinking about what his dad had told him when he was a little boy.

"Well, maybe you’re not paranoid, maybe they really are out to get you! Heh, heh. I’m just kidding, son. How do you like this cabin? Tommorow we’ll drive down to the city and go to Coney Island. Does that sound fun, Garry?"

Garry nodded thinking to himself as him and Jeff walked.

"Okay, goodnight, son. I love you."

When they had come back from Coney Island, that same night the werewolf had bit his father. And the next day it had killed him.

    Garry grabbed his head. "Aghhh!"

    "Garry, Garry?"

"I’m sorry, Jeff. My dad." He said.

"I’m sorry, too. Garry." Said Jeff.

Garry hugged Jeff, and said. "I’m glad your with me, too." He said adding on to what Jeff had said earlier. Then, they realized they had reached the trap doors.

"Garry! Four wolves!" And then they started to climb, after all they had gone through, their journey had only begun.

    -----------Chapter VI
    -----------The Trap Doors

Garry jumped up to the first trap door and pulled it open. He, then scrambled up the first one to see yet another trap door.

"Jeff, c’mon!" Yelled Garry. He put out his hand ushering him to hurry. The first wolf of the pack jumped forward at Jeff as he grabbed onto Garry’s hand and was lifted rapidly up. The wolf grabbed onto the first trap door, but Garry slammed it down on him.

It howled in pain as Garry and Jeff climbed up the next door, only to see another one.

"What’s going on? How many are there?" Said Jeff.

"I don’t know, we have to keep going."

The first trap door was smashed into oblivion as the wolf launched up being put closer to Garry and Jeff.

"Oh, no hurry!" Said Garry, cocking his shotgun.

They climbed up the third door slightly looking back as the wolf looked up at them, it was already up the second trap door. It pounced upwards at them grabbing a hold of Garry’s boot. He let it go easily not wanting to be bit.

They closed the third trap door and scurried up the fourth one. Seeing four furry hands bust through, complete with razor-sharp claws, They knew the second werewolf had gotten up to their level.

"I’ve had enough!" They were now on the sixth trap door. Garry fired his shotgun through the fifth door and heard a howl. "Alright."

The trap doors seemed to go on forever, Garry and Jeff had now reached the seventh trap door and heard nothing behind them so decided to sit down for a few seconds.

"Where do you think these trap doors are taking us?" Said Jeff.

"I do not know. But we will soon find out." Said Garry.

"I have a feeling that it is.." Right as Garry was about to finish the sentence a werewolf hand erupted from the seventh trap door and grabbed Jeff’s leg. "Damn interrupters!" Yelled Jeff and hacked at the hand with his pick-axe.

It howled in agony but kept scratching and pulling. Finally Jeff whacked its hand so much that it was severed from the rest of the werewolf. This angered it horribly. Its entire body practically bounced up out of the trap door and revealed three other werewolves on the sixth door waiting to accompany their comrade.

The second werewolf jumped up and were both about to pounce on Garry when one bit the other. The first wolf growled and scratched it in the face they started quarriling as the second two jumped up to join.

Garry and Jeff climbed up the eighth door and looked at each other.

"Like I said, they hunt in packs, but they get in fights." Said Garry shrugging.

They noticed that the ninth trap door was higher than the others.

"I wonder why they made it not as low as the others." Said Jeff. Garry helped Jeff up it with a foot boost, since Jeff was shorter. Garry was about to grab onto Jeff’s hand when he heard a low growl.

"Oh, no." Garry looked behind to reveal a werewolf with bruises. "Where’re the rest of your friends?"

"Garry, they must’ve gotten bit. It’s no different with werewolves." Yelled Jeff putting out his hand.

The werewolf looked ready to fight. Garry dropped his shotgun.

"Garry, what are you doing?" Said Jeff.

"This is the one…" Said Garry. "The one who took him away from me."

Then, Jeff knew it. He had to leave Garry to fight this wolf.

    "Go." Said Garry.

"I’ll come back for you!" Said Jeff climbing up the last door. "We will get out of here!"

Jeff arrived to the top floor of the castle, he steadied his pick-axe. He saw a long corridor with a white glow at the end of it. He started to run down it.

    --------------Chapter VII
    --------------The Eye

Jeff hovered down the hallway he was going so fast. He wasn’t going to stop now. He wasn’t going to let Garry die. He had to get to it. He had gotten this far. They had gotten this far. Garry wasn’t going to die and neither was he.

Jeff looked at the white glow at the end of the corridor. It was so dark where he was but it was so light up ahead. It was pitch black, except for the whiteness. What was it?

Garry looked into the werewolf’s eyes.

Jeff was sweating and panting, he had dry blood stained all over his body, but he didn’t think anything of it. He had dirt in his hair, he had mud in on his face, he didn’t think anything of it. He had scratches knee-deep in his skin, he didn’t think anything of it.

That was how Garry knew it was the one who had killed him.

Jeff was getting closer to the whiteness. That was where the Eye was. It was going to help them escape. It was going to set them free. It was going to let them go. It was going to get them back to New York. They were going to have normal lives again.

Garry circled the wolf. Then took a swing with his fist.

Jeff thought of his friends… Court, Jany, and… Lea. They weren’t dead. They were alive. They were with Jeff and Garry protecting them. That was how they had gotten through this. That was how Jeff knew they were going to survive.

Garry thought of all of his friends as he battled the wolf. It was almost as if the wolf was going in slow motion. He fought easily thinking of his friends. His friends who had protected him…

Jeff ran towards the light. He wasn’t dead. He was very much alive. He was only a little further from it…

Garry lay down. The wolf was dead. He was going to go after Jeff.

Jeff was inches away from the glow…

Garry looked at the dead wolf. He wanted it to come back to life so he could kill it again. He picked up his shotgun and fired it at the corpse. "Damn You!"

Jeff looked at the Eye and then looked up at the white gleam…

    "Galeena."

Garry felt the most strength he had ever and climbed up the trap door without any help.

Jeff looked up at her. She was beautiful. And then…

"You must leave… you and your friend are the protecters of mankind. You will not go down in books, you will not get parades. But you are the most gratified of all leaders and authorities.

Jeff looked up at her and thought it was impossible to get out. But knew what he had to do. He ran over to the circular table and grabbed the Wolf’s Eye and ran back down the corridor. Away from the light…

    -----------Chapter VII
    -----------The Goliath

Garry looked at the light at the end of the corridor and saw figure running towards him. It wasn’t a werewolf.

    "Jeff!"

"We have to get out of here!"

Garry and Jeff jumped down the trap doors one at a time. Eight… Seventh…. Sixth… Fifth. And then they reached the bottom. They ran towards the gigantic door they had come in through at the very beginning of their quest with three other friends.

Then everything went blood red and Jeff heard the angel Galeena’s voice.

"All glory comes from the daring to begin. But the most challenging task to escape is also the most horrifying experience. Wounds will heal, but minds will be scarred forever."

A gigantic werewolf came from the top of the castle. Everything was still blood red. The wolf was gigantic it must have been ten times larger than Garry and Jeff combined.

The wolf had four arms and red eyes. It roared so loudly that it was deafining.

Garry cocked his shotgun and looked at it as if it were the wolf who he had just foughten. He smiled at it. "Let’s see what you have." Jeff looked around for something bigger than a pick axe. He saw a sword on one of the statues. He grabbed it and readied for fight.

Garry shot the wolf with the shotgun and it roared even louder than before. One of its hands swung down and knocked Garry about 10 yards. "Agh!" He wiped some blood off of his head and saw Jeff’s pick axe. He picked it up and threw it at the wolf’s face.

The howl was so loud it broke a nearby window. Then, Jeff ran to the back of the tyrant and used the sword to climb up the back of it.

"RAAGGHHHH!" It tried to claw the back of him. But Jeff kept climbing up digging the sword into its fur and skin.

Garry fired two more rounds at the wolf’s face. It looked like it was crying blood. But it was still fierce and relentless. Jeff had reached the top of the gigantic werewolf’s head.

Garry fired his shotgun into the wolf’s foot. Jeff was on the back as it thrashed and almost knocked him off but he stuck the sword in the back of its head and made it roar even more as one of its hands tried to knock him off.

Then, Jeff reached the very top center of its head and looked down at its face. The wolf looked up knowing what it was going to do. Jeff stabbed its head and it knocked Jeff off of him and pulled out the sword. It immediately turned around and started walking towards him.

Jeff ran over to Garry. "What are we going to do? Nothing can stop this thing!"

"Nothing can stop this thing… except the eye." Said Garry. "Remember? It has other powers!"

Jeff looked down at the Eye in his shirt pocket. He took out and suddenly it lit up. This blinded the wolf. It was roaring as if saying. "No No Nooo!". The Eye shot out a beam and the wolf fell to the ground. It roared once more and then it was dead.

    ------------Chapter IX
------------The Journey Comes To An End

Garry and Jeff walked out of the castle and looked at the car. The bodies of Jany and Court Leno weren’t there anymore. The old automobile sat as if it had just arrived.

"Well, I guess this is over." Said Jeff.

"I guess it is." Said Garry looking at the sun.

Garry and Jeff both looked behind them. Garry looked at Jeff and smiled. "Our journey ends here. We are going home. I’m never looking back. How about you?"

Jeff looked at Garry. "No. But these three days of our lives will never go unforgotten."

Jeff and Garry got into their automobile and drove off. All glory comes from the daring to begin.

    The End

    The Following Evil Trilogy:
    Return To The Castle

    Werewolves...

    AUTHOR'S NOTES

I was kind of sad to end the trilogy. But at the same time I was kind of sick of it. If anyone wanted to an extended universe type of thing, I probably would let them, I just wouldn't really wanna help out or be a part of it. LOL.
I'm glad I thought of The Following Evil Trilogy. Where I really got my inspiration for it was Castle Wolfenstien. I've never played it, though. I just heard the name, and I thought it would be cool to have a castle and a forest full of werewolves. I also noticed that there were never really all that many werewolf movies, there was Lost Boys, The Howling Series, and An American Werewolf in Paris. But that was about it. So I made this. I also recommend Crimson Moon. It's also about werewolves by aragorn_8, not many people commented on it and its really cool!
I also had another ending for Return to the Castle.

    ALTERNATE ENDING

Garry and Jeff both joined they're three friends. They were happy.

I think people would have been dissapointed if I had done that. Obviously they die, and usually people don't like those kind of endings.
